There is no greater feeling than heading out on a trip after you've worked long and hard to deserve it. Now most of you that know us know that generally speaking we are broke. We can not afford nice outings or long exotic vacations. We aim for the short jaunts that are as inexpensive as they are close to home. So our blog is about those short, inexpensive outings we try to take as often as we can. I have to add, however, we DO take a trip or two every so often that is one or two nights. Again we look for places on the cheap and just a couple hours drive away.
So, sit back and enjoy. Maybe you'll follow one of our adventures, or make it your own. Its an attempt at escaping the hum-drum of every day life.
And since the warden isn't looking, we'll be off!
